If you sit in front of your new High Definition flat panel television with your eyes closed it’s obvious that you see nothing at all. Likewise if you are wearing an out of date prescription, the HD image is still not optimized. You need to be an HD “viewer” in order to fully appreciate the image quality this technology can provide. For this reason my outstanding staff and I are devoted to providing “HD For Your World™”. We want to give you the ability to see your world in the high definition that only your eyes and brain are capable of.
HD of course refers to High Definition, the latest trend in video. A device that lets you see images in HD is presenting the same information with more detail than was available with older technology.
Recently several patients have mentioned their new flat panel television. All have appreciated the improved image quality, sometimes just the fact that the screen is larger has helped them see the programming more easily. A more precise eyewear prescription with high quality lenses and a distortion reducing antireflection coating gave them the ability to fully appreciate their new television for the first time.
While that new HD set is giving you a great image, it still does not come close to the detail available in your environment. The human eye is capable of perceiving far greater detail than even the latest HD device is capable of presenting. When you stand at the edge of the Grand Canyon and look out over that amazing vista, you have vastly more detail available to you than any HD set can provide. When you look at your family, a fabulous sunset, great art, a delicious meal-- that is when you really need “HD For Your World™”.
